The light is very portable. A small generator would be best in my opinion but you can try a 12v car battery with an inverter. Look up the current requirements and make sure the battery and inverter will carry the load.

I Finally Broke It

My wife bought two of these back in 21' to light up the addition I was building for a neighbor. Since then I have used them in numerous (10-15 ) construction sites. I have pulled them all the way across the crawlspace for plumbing work repair, carried them to the attics to fix ac issues and mostly used them under trucks as I rebuild transmission lines and diesel lines. So on 10/7/24, I finally turned one of the light blades the wrong way and broke the plastic socket area. It still works, just looks like a broken rabbit ear hanging down. The other one is still fine. I may try and save it by using a super glue/baking soda combo. It may not spin but it would at least stay in one position. Saw this fix on YT and have used it on several plastic emergency fixes. it is amazing.

My wife couldn't remember where she got them, so today I finally got time to sit down and research to try and find the light and buy another one. Overall I have used them for hundreds of hours without a problem. They have stayed on for 8-10 hours at a time. They have fallen over, been dragged and dropped from an open doorway (no porch). They fold up nicely so they can be taken through small areas. Super bright and well made. I am so glad to have gotten away from the glass halogen work lights, those suck.

So I am back today to order another light but they are out of stock. So I guess I will order it from Amazon. I wouldn't buy anything else.

JUNK power Switch

My son bought Model 7901301426 through Amazon 2 years ago. ON/OFF Switch always felt weak from first use, difficult to get work light to turn on and off. My son loved it so much, I had to buy another one for me. The switch failed completely about 3 months ago. SUCKS that there are no available parts available. Will not be buying anything more form this company.

Order was confirmed, but shipping information was never provided. I have lost all faith that I will ever receive the product. Of course, I will scrutinize my credit card statements for unearned charges from Lutec. In short, I will not be buying anything else from this company.

Fantastic!

I use a light in my customers home when there isn’t enough light. I do tile repair and install so it’s important to have good light, the unit folds easily and it lightweight. I’m very happy!
