I have sandy soil. The only way to make the light stable was to set the spike into a cement footing. The 3 bolts that hold the light to the base spin on the inside not allowing you to realy crank down on the tightness. The post is up and standing and won't blow over but is still slightly wobbly. I wish the ground spike unite as a whole was metal and not plastic. I feel it would be more stable. Over all its ok just not sure how it will hold up over the long run
We love the solar pole light. Solved the problem of no electricity nearby. We did not want to have to trench in electric. Perfect. Provided light well after midnight. Excellent quality and customer service
Installed according to included instructions.
The lighting is adequate but I ordered another light to enhance the coverage of the patio area. I did have to make a slight alteration to mount the base on the concrete patio.
