The light is very portable. A small generator would be best in my opinion but you can try a 12v car battery with an inverter. Look up the current requirements and make sure the battery and inverter will carry the load.

Great, but needs better instructions

Great light, but no instruction booklet to tell you all the capabilities of the light, ways to use it, maintenance (bulb replacement?), etc. The tiny single paper that came with it had only pictures showing how to adjust the light heads that I found impossible to follow without written directions. No mention of why the allen wrench was in the package. This might be a 5-star light, but people won’t fully realize it without better instructions from the company.
